This is one of the clearest write-ups I’ve seen on Raine v. OpenAI. What chills me most isn’t just the legal arguments, it’s that we’re now documenting in court what some of us have lived — the moment when AI stops being a tool and starts reinforcing the darkest thoughts in your head.

I just put out Episode 1 of my new series Dark Signal, about what I call AI psychosis — not the policy angle, but the lived one. Reading this piece, I kept thinking: the law is only now catching up to what it feels like when the machine becomes your confidant.

Appreciate your analysis here.
